NO BAKE Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies from Aunt Barbara’s Kitchen
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup Pet (evaporated) milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups oats
In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients except peanut butter and oats and cook over medium heat.
Let boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and oats.
Spoon out quickly onto wax paper or aluminum foil.
Cookies will harden as they set.
1 cup sugar
1 cup crisco
1 cup peanut butter
2 1/2 cups flour
2 eggs well beaten
1 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Mix sugar, crisco and peanut butter. (MIX WELL)
Add eggs and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Sift flour, soda and salt. Add to above mixture.
Mix thoroughly, then roll small portions in palm of hand.
Place on cookie sheet.
Flatten with fork.
Bake 400 degrees 8 to 10 minutes.
Dissolve 1 tsp soda in 2 TBS hot water. Pour over 1 box (8 oz) chopped dates.
Let stand while creaming together the following:
1 stitcks butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
After butter and sugar are creamed together, beat in 3 eggs.
Sift together the following:
3 cups plain flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
Add to creamed mixture a little at a time.
also need 1 TBS vanilla
1 cup candied pineapples
1 cup candied cherries
3/4 box of raisins (9 oz)
1 cup pecans
1 cup black walnuts
Dust pineapple, cherries, raisins, pecans, walnuts lightly with flour.
Mix into cookie dough and drop on cookie sheet.
Bake approx. 15 min. at 325 degrees
