Freda’s Cream Cheese Pound Cake

3 cups sugar

1  1/2 cups butter

1    8-oz cream cheese, softened

6 eggs

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1/4 tsp soda

1 tsp vanilla

Cream sugar, butter and cream cheese.  Add eggs one at a time, beating after each one.  Sift flour, salt and soda and add to creamed mixture, a little at a time, then add vanilla.

Bake 1   1/2 – 2 hours at 350 in a greased 9″ Tube Pan
